My job as an RV Inspector is to educate you on the condition of an RV you are interested in purchasing with an in-depth, unbiased, 3rd party inspection which includes a detailed report, and photos, showing potential issues or hazardous conditions so that you can make an informed purchasing decision and avoid buying a new or used RV that has existing problems that you do not want to pay extra for once you drive it home.
We have no financial interest in the outcome of the inspection. We do not make any repairs on the units we inspect. We simply make you aware of the potential issues with the RV. We help dealerships become aware of potential issues as well as consumers purchasing an RV who want to obtain a detailed report on the condition of the RV they intend to purchase.
As a Certified RV Inspector, we are required to follow a very specific set of Standards set out by the NRVIA and we practice a strict Code of Ethics to ensure that you, the consumer, will receive an impartial, unbiased inspection performed with honesty and Integrity.
Yes, your RV black tank has a flush system. But it’s more a sprayer or rinsing system and can’t generate enough volume nor pressure to keep your black tank completely clean.
Some RVers use a product like the Valterra Flush King backlash valve and that’s a great way to quickly introduce — and then evacuate — tank-fulls of water into your tanks. But if what’s in there is sticky or built up over time, there is only so much they can do.
As you might guess, holding tanks can get pretty smelly and even gray tanks can become something to turn your nose up at! A professional tank cleaning will scrub out all of the buildup and residue in your RV's holding tanks, leaving them as clean as they were when they left the factory.
We go into each of your holding tanks with a high-pressure water pump and use water at 1500 PSI through a specially-designed cleaning nozzle to hydrogen your tanks clean.
The agitation process of 1500 PSI water completely knocks everything off tank walls, from corners, and breaks up any accumulation, mounds, or caked-on debris and sediment. We literally blast the inside of your tanks clean with high-pressure water.
Then, using that same backlash valve, we flood your holding tanks — first your black tank, then your gray tank(s) — and flush them out until they are completely clean. They will be as clean as the day it rolled of the manufactures floor. Say good bye to faulty sensors.
The Oil analysis (on your chassis engine and or Generator) will tell whether the oil has experienced excessive water contamination. The lab may also look at the acid and base numbers. Acid levels indicate the extent to which the oil is overheating or oxidizing.
The coolant analysis analysis can identify the onset of maintenance deficiencies or mechanical issues that can lead to potential cooling system failure. Corrosion, cavitation, localized overheating, electrolysis and lack of coolant maintenance are just a few of the many destructive conditions that can cause major systems damage.
Monitoring transmission fluid conditions is crucial for several reasons. Excessive wear can indicate an impending failure, making wear monitoring essential. Transmission fluids typically degrade due to extreme usage or heat, emphasizing the need for monitoring their chemistry. Contamination, such as dirt, water, or sand, is also a common concern. Coolant from an intercooler can sometimes mix with transmission fluids, making contamination monitoring important.
